learn all about SADD University

Attention! Attention!

Did you know there are fabulous new courses on your MySADD app?? SADD University is here!. But this is not just a typical one part course, it is a total of four courses! These include SADD 101 (Intro to SADD), SADD 201 (Being A Leader), SADD 301 (SADD In College), and SADD 401 (Being An Advisor).

Let's give a special thanks to the whole SLC for forming this course from scratch! As an SLC member myself, I know first hand all the hard-work and dedication that were put into creating this course. But I bet you don’t! Here’s an inside look on what it takes to put resources that are so amazing like this together…

The ideation, planning, scheduling, and creation took countless weeks, emails, and meetings. When creating SADD University one thing that we wanted to ensure was that these courses would be helpful for a wide variety of people. We did not want to limit the demographic to just SADD high school students but expand it to college students and school advisors too. That’s when the whole SLC agreed to create a multi-part course instead of just one course. This way there will be information available for every stage of SADD member.

Next, the SLC spent a couple meetings developing the subtopics for each course. Every subtopic had to supply information in a logical order that would greatly benefit each audience. Once the brainstorming was finished the subtopics were distributed among seven state coordinators so scripts could be created (let's give a big thanks to Lauren, Liza, Carol, Michelle, Deanna, Olivia, and Rachel!). After a month, all the scripts were made!

Then, it was time for the SLC to film. Each course required information-packed videos that would enhance engagement. Like with the scripts, the subtopics were divided out between every SLC member. All eighteen videos only took around a month to film and edit! With all the content now finished, the amazing SADD team was able to make SADD University real and SADD 101, SADD 201, SADD 301, and SADD 401 were formed on the mySADD app. Once complete the SADD SLC looked over the all courses to work out all the last details and quirks so they would be ready for release. WOOOO!!

Seeing an idea come to life is so exciting! Especially one that came from us as students, seeing that we had a need and executing a plan to make sure that need was filled. We say it all the time, but we really mean it here at SADD, we are run by students, for students, for that authentic peer-to-peer programming we know we want and need.

Thank you to the whole SADD team for all your hard work.

You know what time it is now… time to enroll in and begin SADD University!!!

At University, balancing leadership roles and academics can be tough. Inspired by SADD University’s new courses, I realized the importance of managing time wisely. To keep up with my French class while focusing on my studies, I decided to do my French class online for me for extra support.

Hi, lucky dreams has become my go-to online casino in Australia! The variety of games is fantastic, with plenty of pokies that cater to every taste. What I love most is their quick and hassle-free payouts, which is rare to find. The platform is user-friendly, and the customer support is always ready to assist. Plus, their promotions and bonuses are super generous. Highly recommend Lucky Dreams for anyone in AU looking for a trustworthy casino!

Over the past few weeks, I’ve been experimenting with different platforms, and one really stood out. The rewards system keeps me coming back, and the games have such high-quality graphics. If you're on the lookout for something new, here's Boomerang. It's a gem.
