We are thrilled to announce the launch of our highly anticipated 2024 Virtual Training Series!

 

Trainings are designed to be an hour in length. Participants can join as their schedule permits. Training descriptions and registration links are below. Why should you get trained by SADD?

From leadership development to effective communication and advocacy, our expert trainers will equip you with valuable knowledge and tools that will empower you to make a positive impact in your communities.

With our virtual format, you can participate in the training sessions from the comfort of your own home or school. We've carefully designed our sessions to fit into your schedule, with both live and on-demand options available. You can choose the sessions that interest you most and access the recordings at your convenience.

Our Virtual Training Series also provides a unique opportunity to connect and collaborate with fellow youth leaders from across the nation. Through interactive breakout sessions and networking events, you'll have the chance to share ideas, learn from each other's experiences, and build a strong network of like-minded individuals who are passionate about creating positive change.

SADD 101

SADD was founded on the simple philosophy that young people, empowered to help each other, are the most effective force in prevention. Learn about what has made SADD a leader in peer-to-peer prevention programming for over 40 years and how you can use SADD programming in your community.

21 or bust (NEW!)

This evidence-informed campaign teams SADD chapters with Beverage Retailers, law enforcement officials, liquor law enforcement, and other community leaders to prevent the sale of alcohol to those under the age of 21. This training focuses on strategies chapters can use to prevent underage drinking and impaired driving.

SHIFTING
GEARS

The Blunt Truth About Marijuana & Driving program provides evidence-based information about the dangers of marijuana and driving. This training will be conducted by SADD staff and is in presented in agreement with AAA.

January 23, 2024 @ 3:30 p.m. EST

TEEN TRAFFIC SAFETY & MENTAL HEALTH

This training will explore the association between risky behaviors while driving and mental health factors.

January 25, 2024 @ 2:30 p.m. EST

TEXTLESS
LIVE MORE

This training will cover the Text Less Live More and provide schools and chapters the tools they need to implement programs to prevent distracted driving through activities, and wellness activities for each month.

Driver's Licensing & Teen Drivers

Compliance with Graduated Drivers Licensing Laws (GDL) have been proven to reduce teen crashes. The objective of this virtual training is to provide students and advisors with the tools needed to implement evidence informed training into SADD programming.
