To the Class of 2025: You'll Always Have a Home with SADD

Welcome back, SADD seniors! This is our year to be on top, but it was a long road to get here! Let’s take a moment to reflect on the last 12 years of our school-attending lives; all the ups and downs we’ve overcome have made us stronger, and as we face more challenges and successes in the future, we’ll grow even more.

Growing up, we dreamed about what we wanted to be, from a mermaid to a superhero. Today, as we get ready to close our this grade school chapter and step into the real world, we still dream of making a difference with the same curiosity and ambition our younger selves. Between the time we entered kindergarten and the day we graduated, we all grew up into young adults; now, and soon it’ll be time to go our separate ways to follow our dreams. While some will attend college, the rest might start working or take a gap year. Either way, the future will look bright, and I’m so excited to see where we’ll all end up in the next few years and decades.

Regardless of where the rest of our life takes us, one thing remains true—we’re connected because of the experiences SADD has given us. Reaching this point hasn’t been easy. It's highly possible that the last few years of our lives haven’t gone exactly how we planned. But that’s okay—that’s a part of the process and a part of our learning. There have been ups and downs—late nights and early mornings. We’re likely to face many more of these in this senior year too. Despite this, I hope SADD has positively impacted your life. I hope you have gained friendships and skills that will continue through your college years and beyond. I know I have!

The rest of our lives will hold something very different than what we’ve experienced thus far, but some things will remain constant. We have many experiences ahead of us and will change as people, but we’ll still have our dedication to improving our community and creating positive impacts, one step at a time. This year, and post-high school, we will have a lot more freedom and choices. Let’s remember to continue making positive and safe decisions and reminding others to do the same. There will be so many reasons to celebrate this year, ending in the biggest celebrations of all, prom and graduation. Let’s make sure that they’re all safe, that we’re watching out for one another, that we’re speaking up when something seems wrong, and intervening when we know a situation is not right. SADD wants to see all of us in our seats on graduation day and well beyond, and that starts with making informed decisions every. single. day.

Our involvement in SADD so far is proof of the impact we can have. So, if you’re a SADD senior, let’s not have this mark the end of our SADD journey. Know that the SADD community is available even after graduation. Join our alumni network and consider starting a SADD chapter at your college or getting involved in the College Advisory Council! The SADD Student Leadership Council has hosted various events with alumni members, such as trivia night; there will be more of these in the future!

Congratulations to the incoming class of 2025, we can’t wait to see everything you will accomplish. Remember, you always have a second home with SADD.

I’ve tried out a lot of online casinos, and this one has really caught my attention. The range of games is excellent, and everything runs smoothly. Clubhouse offers a well-designed interface that makes finding and playing games straightforward. For anyone in Australia looking for a new and enjoyable casino to play on, this site is worth a visit.
