Becky Sutton serves as the State Coordinator for Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) in Michigan. She is a graduate of Hope College, where she also played collegiate basketball, an experience that helped shape her passion for leadership, teamwork, and mentorship.
Throughout her career, Becky has worked closely with high school and college-aged students in roles centered on empowerment, advocacy, and student success. She is deeply committed to creating supportive environments where young people feel heard, valued, and equipped to make positive, healthy decisions for themselves and their communities. Her work aligns strongly with SADD’s mission to develop student leaders and promote smart decision-making through education and engagement.
In addition to her role with SADD, Becky is a college basketball coach, where she continues to mentor and guide students both on and off the court. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, kids, and pets, and values the balance of leadership, service, and connection in both her professional and personal life.
