NOTICE: 2023 SADD Conference Cancelled

Dear friend of SADD,

​

For more than 40 years, SADD has prided itself in our ability to support and inspire students as they advocate for the health and safety of themselves and their peers. The last few years have ushered in unprecedented challenging times in the youth prevention space, consistently changing and pivoting our approaches to reach young people, their caring adults, and our communities.

It is with this in mind that, in looking at our current committed attendance at the summer conference, SADD has decided to cancel the 2023 SADD National Conference while we reevaluate the best way to address the needs of our students.

​

We recognize that this may be a disappointment, especially for those who have already committed to attending the conference. We will refund all paid registration fees ASAP, and we sincerely regret any inconvenience this will cause in canceling travel plans or receiving reimbursements from airlines. Please get in touch with our team at info@sadd.org if you need help working with airlines on refunds.

We are actively evaluating our summer and back-to-school programming to create experiences that will be more meaningful and impactful for our students, aligning with SADD’s mission. Be on the lookout for programmatic opportunities taking place in lieu of the in-person conference, like our 2023 Summer Conference Series: #SADDfest! This summer-long virtual event will bring all the fun of the in-person conference to you, free of charge. With fun contests, engaging video messages from SADD partners, and other surprises in store, you won't want to miss this. Keep an eye on your email and SADD's social media for more information on that soon.
