Luke Tang was a well-liked, passionate and brilliant Harvard sophomore who took his family and friends by surprise when he decided to take his own life.
“Looking for Luke” is a short documentary following Luke’s parents, Wendell and Christina, as they attempt to understand why he did this by reading through his journals and talking to his closest friends. As they piece together what happened, they begin to uncover the truth about their son’s death through the realization of depression as a mental illness.
Join SADD Nation, as we kick-off the 2017-2018 SADD Talk Series with a national viewing of “Looking for Luke.” Our Acting CEO, Rick Birt, will moderate a panel of our College Advisory Council Members and Dr. Gene Beresin, SADD’s Senior Advisor on Adolescent Psychiatry, as we talk about mental health, stress, and what we can do to keep ourselves and our friends safe.
The event will be streamed live on SADD’s Facebook page. RSVP to the event today, and then log-in just prior to the event to access the film, followed by our expert panel on Facebook Live!
