Dating Violence Contest
At last summer's SADD National Conference, our friends at the Ad Council held a workshop on their "That's Not Cool" campaign, which focuses on teen dating violence through harassing texts, instant messages, Facebook posts, and e-mails. Students in the workshop had the chance to create their own "Callout Card" to respond to someone who crossed their "digital line."
Now it's your turn to address this important issue during Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month - and you can win some cool prizes! After all, your mobile, IM, and online accounts are each a part of YOU. When someone you're dating is controlling, disrespecting, or pressuring you in those spaces, that's not cool. This is your chance to create your own Callout Card. The contest runs through March 15th, and the grand prize is a trip to Washington, D.C., to meet NFL players at their annual gala. Other prizes include autographed NFL memorabilia, t-shirts, and more. Visit thatsnotcool.com/contest to learn more and submit your entry!
