Actively participate.

•  Read mailings or other communications that come home from school regarding alcohol and other drugs.
• Be aware of the school rules and regulations about underage drinking and other drug use.
• Attend parent nights or participate in events focused on preventing underage drinking and other drug use.

Initiate action. Help create a task force of administrators, teachers, parents, and students to address school policies surrounding underage drinking and other drug use.  SADD has materials that can help.  For more information, contact programs@sadd.org.
