SADD announces Jessica Roscoe of New Rockford, North Dakota, as the 2010-2011 SADD National Student of the Year. Roscoe will be the youth spokesperson for the organization, serving with a student leadership council of 8 extraordinary peers whose term begins in July.

Teen Driving Research
Summer is the deadliest time of year for young drivers, but the newest Liberty Mutual/SADD research survey shows that less than 10 percent of teens see the danger, despite an increased likelihood of drinking and driving.

ONDCP Prevent and Reduce Prescription Drug Abuse
Prescription drug abuse is the fastest-growing drug problem in the United States. Because prescription drugs are legal, they are easily accessible, often from a home medicine cabinet. You can play an important role in reducing prescription drug abuse. SADD is proud to partner with the Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP), and we encourage you to find out more.

We Can Help Us
SADD has partnered with the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), along with the Ad Council and the Inspire USA Foundation to launch a teen suicide prevention campaign. The campaign, known as "We Can Help Us," encourages teens going through tough times to learn success stories and coping strategies from other teens at http://us.reachout.com/.
