Think About It … September Start-Up: The Power of Friendship

friendship coverFriendship is a vital part of teenagers’ lives. According to SADD’s original, groundbreaking Teens Today research of teen attitudes and behaviors, roughly one third of students reported that their friends are the biggest influence in their lives. The Think About It … The Power of Friendship campaign emphasizes positive peer influence and challenges chapters to reach out at the beginning of the school year to recruit new students to join SADD. The campaign encourages chapters to start their year off with a bang and helps to create a plan for success. Chapters are guided through a process of assessing their school’s needs and planning for a year of building friendships and saving lives.
