Teens Are Heading Back to School and Behind the Wheel
Teens are heading back to school, many of whom will be behind the wheel for the first time. Adding to their novice driving abilities, many teens are driving half asleep or practicing other dangerous driving behaviors, such as text messaging or piling too many friends into the car. Parents play a critical role in their teen’s safety behind the wheel. When it comes to demonstrating safe driving behaviors, their actions need to speak as loud as their words. But a new study by Liberty Mutual Insurance reveals that parents are not always setting a good example when driving.
