We are excited to announce that the 2009 SADD National Conference, Climbing the Hill, will be held at the Bethesda North Marriott in Bethesda, Maryland, July 12-15, 2009!   Mark your calendars, and start your fund-raising today! 

• Ground Package Price.  The ground package price per student is only $699 and $799 per adult.  This incredible package includes hotel accommodations for three nights, all conference meals, inspirational keynotes and a large range of diverse, dynamic workshops, and all costs associated with off-site events taking place July 12-15.  

• Conference Highlights.  Plans are underway to make this a fantastic experience!  Participants will hear from experts on a variety of important issues, participate in innovative and interactive workshops, and have the opportunity to network and collaborate with youth and adults from across the country.  We also plan to check out the Hard Rock Cafe and tour many Washington, D.C., landmarks with a memorable evening excursion!

• Registration Materials.  Registration materials will be available the week of December 1, 2009.  Be sure to check back for more information!

• Fund-Raising Tips!  Need some ideas?  Click here for some great ways to raise funds to get yourself, and your peers, to conference!

• SADD SPEAKs.  This year’s conference will be preceded by a special two-day SADD SPEAKs (Students for Policy, Education, Awareness, and Knowledge) advocacy training for a small number of students, selected from an application pool, who will then share their experience with the conference as a whole.  More information and details will be coming soon! 

An inaugural year is an exciting time to be in the nation’s capital, and you will be able to share your voice on youth health and safety issues with our Congressional leaders.  Climbing the Hill will prove a fantastic opportunity to network with more than 500 youth and adults from across the country, all committed to prevention, education, and activism.  Let your voice be heard!
